We can find plenty of photos of beautifully arranged rooms on Pinterest or Instagram. There is so many amazing accessories, fashionable furniture and great brands that it is difficult to choose final product. And the choice is huge- not only in styles but also prices. This is the reason it is difficult to know how much will it cost to arrange a room. You can see beautiful spaces with designer details and you wonder can you afford it? I hope I can help you decide.
Usually kids’ rooms are 10-15 square metres. How much you will spend on it depends mostly on you. Everyone prefers different things.
Average cost is between 9.000-12.000zł, but I was designing rooms that were 5000zł and above 20000zł. It doesn’t mean cheaper rooms are in any way worse. I believe the most important is that you and your kids are happy with the result. To succeed you need to put things together nicely despite the price.
Some of my clients like to have set budget and some of them allow me to decide. They want to see the project first and then discuss prices. I am flexible and I can work with both types.
To give you some idea of the costs I will compare two rooms of similar size of around 12m².
The first room was previously used as a bedroom, the second one was freshly built.

As you can see both rooms are of similar standard, but the price difference is noticeable. The equipment in room 2 is half as expensive. In the more expensive one half of the price is furniture made especially for the room. In the second room more money was spent on baskets and containers. To sum up I want to say that there is no way of saying how much exactly should the room cost, it really depends on our choices. When you plan your budget it is good to have some idea, think what can be more expensive and what can we get for cheaper. Some people prefer to buy furniture for years, some prefer to change it every year 😉
