Antek's Room

Antek loves basketball, swimming and boxing, and when he is not training, he enjoys following the adventures of Marvel heroes. All of these interests had to appear in the room while still feeling visually coherent. The design also had to preserve an existing wardrobe, fit a very large desk, plenty of storage, and a mezzanine, all within less than 14 square meters. A climbing wall, basketball hoop and superhero accents complete the space, while the mezzanine immediately draws attention from the doorway, emphasized by a dark section of the wall and ceiling. The wooden slanted openwork guard paired with a yellow rope stands out beautifully against the deep navy background. Below, there is a relaxation corner and a spare mattress for sleepovers, while upstairs is Antek's sleeping area marked with an 'A' lamp and large superhero posters.
